I have this question from GMAT Pretest - test 2

In the sequence of positive numbers x1, x2, x3,..., what is the value of x1?

1. xi = (xi-1)/2 for all integer i>1 (to clarify i.e x3=x2/2)
2. x5 = x4/(x4 + 1)

OA is C

If x is an integer, is the median of the 5 numbers shown greater than the average (arithmetic mean) of the 5 numbers?

1. x>6

Thanks guys. E is the correct answer choice.

I think I misunderstand the question. I think they are asking that each stock is a 3-letter codes so I missed the 1-letter and 2-letters stock.

I take GMAT Prep test and get stuck with this question. Please help!

If p and n are positive integers and p>n, what is the remainder when p2 –n2 is divisible by 5?

1) The remainder when p+n is divisible by 5 is 1
2) The remainder when p-n is divisible by 3 is 1
