x% means X/100
x= (m/100) y
=> y = ( 100/m) x
= ( 100 * 100)/(100*m) x ---- I multiplied and divided by 100
=( 10000/m* 100) x
= 10000/m % x

Given -2x>3y A) y is positive means 3y is positive if -2x> 3y then - 2x must be positive implies x is negative Sufficient B) 2x+5y- 20 = 0 => 2x+5y = 20 ___A Given -2x>3y => -2x-3y > 0 => -(2x+3y)>0 => 2x+3y<0 Rewrite Equation A=> 2x+3y +2y= 20 The bold portion is negative so y must be positive y is...

X is negative
when X is negative |x| = -x because output of modulus will always be positive example |-3|= -( -3)
SQT ( -x|x|) = SQT(( -x)(-x))
= SQT( -x ^ 2)
-= -x
Please let me know if this is not clear

Here is my take on it,
X produces 60 files per hour
Y Produces 30 files per hour
Working together they will produce 90 files per hour
90 files = 1 hour
240 files = 240 /90 hours = 2 hrs 40 min

Here is my Vision of it
A-B C- D X- Y-Z
- denotes siblings
Selecting 2 from 7 = 7 C2 = 21
Pairs which are not siblings = AC ,AD,AX,AY,AZ,BC,BD,BX,BY,BZ,CX,CY,CZ,DX,DY,DZ
So Probability = 16/21
Thanks

No of ways favorable ways. 1. If we select One from the group of 3(2 siblings) and one from the group of 4(1 sibling) = 3C1*4C1 = 12 2. If we select 2 from the group of 4 who are not siblings = 4C2( Total Selections) - 2 ( Selections with siblings) = 4 Question: In this why are we not considering 2 ...

Yes indeed
We reach a Proportion 25 : 10 : 22 which cannot be divided further . So there has to be 22 men. we get this info from A .. The information given B is not required to arrive at this conclusion
Any Inputs on this???

IMO E
P = 1*2*3*..*30
Let us take the highest integer in choice which is 18
K= 18
We need to check if 3K is a factor of P
P/3K = (1 * 2 * 3 * ... * 30) /( 3 * 18 )
which will be an integer
So E
Please correct me if I am wrong
