E is not true. If the departmental store is 2 floor then it WONT have an elevator. So 'some' in the option is incorrect. correct E option would look like "All 2 floor department stores do not have elevators" '2 floor department store' is different from the 'second floor of some department...

forrestgump, acc to C, anything before 60000 BC with Carbon Dating is unreliable. That means Carbon dating around 52000BC was reliable. This means that whatever skeptics pointed out was acceptable. How does this weaken what skeptics say? We are trying to weaken the skeptics' view. But the skeptics ...

Mel: The official salary for judges has always been too low to attract the best Candidates to the job. The legislature's move to raise the salary has done nothing to improve the situation, because it was coupled with a ban on receiving money for lectures and teaching engagements. Pat: No, the raise...

Q4: You need stat. (1) to fix them as integers, otherwise for stat. (2) x can be 2 and y=4.5, in which case (1+4.5)^3 is not an even integer - it is not an integer at all. If x and y are integers, then the only possible options for xy=9 are x=3, y=3, or x=1, y=9 - bot of which will yield an even int...

Q3: Stat. (1) and (2) are both insufficient because m can be 100 (and then m^3 = 10^6, with 7 digits) or 400 = 4*10^2 (in which case m^3 = 64*10^6) = 8 digits)

(1) if X>1 and Y>1, is X<Y? (1) X^2/(XY+X)<1 (2) XY/Y^2-Y<1 I chose D, but OA is E ,why???? Stat. (1) X^2/(XY+X) = x^2/x(y+1) = x/y+1<1 Multiply times y+1 (you can do that because it's positive, since y>1) x<y+1 so if x is smaller than y+1, does that mean that x is smaller than y? Not necessarily: I...

Ok, that's TOO much information to process :) It's difficult to say with certainty from the score report you included, but your average time for each question format in data sufficiency and all verbal formats is lower than expected. Would I be correct in saying that you tend to finish the sections ...

Correctly measuring the productivity of service workers is complex. Consider, for example, postal workers: they are often said to be more productive if more letters are delivered per postal worker. But is this really true? What if more letters are lost or delayed per worker at the same time that mo...
