Re: Regarding schools choice and POST MBA -Career GOALS
Hi,
Your goals are spot on - I think if anything it might be a bit too restrictive. Your background will set you up really well for a great career if you can line up next couple of years - with or without an MBA.
If you want to discuss different career pathways possible for you, PM me.

Re: Admission into a top school?
Hi, Admission to the best schools in the world requires an overall well thought and articulated approach - it is not simply a matter of scores; it is a combination of scores, your past experience (how long, where and career progression), leadership skills, your goals, articulation of your vision and...

Re: Profile Evaluation for HSW
Hi, You have a fantastic GMAT score, great diversity in your profile and strong background in commerce/entrepreneurship. You can certainly build an excellent story around your previous backgrounds. In my opinion, the drawback would be to address your undergraduate score, not a massive issue but defi...

Re: Online MBA options
Hi, In today's world, there are many different ways MBA is delivered - full time, executive and online being three most common ways. Doing an online MBA is not necessarily the best use of your time and resources. This is because most organisations value people who have "risked" significant...

Re: Looking for guidance regarding Masters/MBA choices
Hi, We have written a blog on when you should consider an MBA vs a Masters degree - have a read here. http://www.oneclickprep.com/is-it-an-mba/ It is a very important question and we think you have to look inwards to determine how keen you are to pursue breadth vs depth in your career - not backward...

Hi Adithya, Good question. Having decided where you want to work drives your decision to do an MBA quite significantly and as such, I think you have thought well. Given your background, I would say apply early (Round 1) to the highest ranked colleges you can - ISB and IIM being obvious choices. If y...

Hi Anyrban, In addition to the above points, I think it is also critical to bring in some other aspects of your profile, i.e. how will the MBA help you in your dreams of being an entrepreneur? Particularly important is because owning your own business often requires you to break the very boundaries ...

Absolutely, retake the GMAT again. Given your background, I don't think getting a score around 700 is too hard for you, particularly with about 4-6 weeks preparation. Apart from the strategy consulting and top 40 MBA career ambition, it is also important to address your CGPA. You have a strong backg...

Hi, This is a fantastic question. In terms of the goals and relating it back to the MBA, it is extremely important to overlay that with the current competencies and skills the candidate has. I would start with the long term goal and work backwards from that. At every stage we would need to demonstra...

Hi, In that event, absolutely go for it. Given that you already scored 700, you might need to fine tune your strategies a bit. Also, preparing for GMAT and your application at the same time may work to your benefit - it will provide a bit of variety in your preparation and if nothing, your essays wi...
