Having said that, while the test-maker may see te section as a useful tool to test future managers on, the Adcoms have to develop a firm understanding of how the IR score actually corulates with their r...

Got My GMAT Report today, Overall score remains the same, AWA 5.5 (vs 5 from my first attempt) and IR 5. I think an IR score of 5 should be OK given low priority that Adcoms are likely to place on it for this year's application season...Any views?

Hi Faraz, Thx for the kind words. I practically used every CAT that i could lay my hands on. GMAT PREP, MGMAT CAT, VERITAS PREP, KAPLAN, Question Pack (Quant), GMAT-Focus (Avoidable) , GMAT CLUB TESTS (Quant).... In my opinion GMAT PREP CAT's are the best for VERBAL and are fairly close in quant. I ...

Different Programs, have different policy when it comes to TOEFEL requirements and waivers. Some require you to provide an official certificate attesting to the fact that English was the sole language at your Undergraduate institution, while others require that the official language in your country ...

The Veritas Prep RC book is one of the best in their family of GMAT books, and a best source for RC passages outside of the 2 OG's. In my opinion, you really do not need more practice beyond what this book, the 2 OG's and the CAT's provide. If you are struggling with RC even after exhausting all the...

From my experience of having taken MGMAT CAT's (all the CAT's twice ) and written the GMAT on two occassions, I can say that MGMAT Quant is way harder, involves more calculations, and better time-management & strategic guessing. Having said that, I find that the overall score on the quant sectio...

Just a quick update. I wrote the GMAT (2nd attempt) Yesterday, and ended with a score of 730 (Q48, V42)...I am delighted! Here's a brief summary of my G_Day experience (full de-brief later) ESSAY: Fairly easy prompt, took around 20 minutes to knock it out. I had practiced around 4-5 essays before my...

Could you also rate my attempt... The Author claims that, “the people are not as concerned as they were a decade ago about their intake of red meat and fatty cheeses. In support of his claim, the author cites the large selection of cheeses in Heart’s delight, which started off in the 1960’s...

Took the free test, Today. Must say the Quant on the new CAT is a quite a step above the old Veritas CAT's. I used to finish the Quant on the older CAT's with 3-4 minutes to spare, regardless what score i got (to my surprise my score fluctuated from a Q38 (on one occasion) to a Q47). Today I had to ...
