E, over C.

i'm getting CR questions wrong by a big margin lately so won't be surprised if it happens again.

A is good people.

the trick here is to realize that the novel is being compared to an apprentice work. the apprentice work will not read itself or anything else so any answer choices with 'as' are wrong. i dropped E even though it was grammatically similar to A based on gut instinct.

i choose A, between A and E. B C D change meaning if you read literally. a comma after land sounded better to me in A.

i solved somewhat like morgoth but i confirmed if B is good to go or not via long division since i was way less than 2 mins into the problem.

it paid off - B is smaller than C.

D looks pretty good.

B comes close but the proportion of the gain has no bearing on whether the debt gets reduced or not, which is the focus.

i got E too by POE, i don't agree with its logic though.

E is saying that more individuals bought new cars 25 years ago than today. this doesn't directly indicate how much people spent relative to their income 25 years ago vs. today.

i choose D. A is definitely out of scope. we don't care much what happens to female cats.

i choose A, and i know the OA is B.

but, how the heck does there are a make any sense at all? even though the and makes them plural, if B were to be correct, i feel the a need to go.
