An update on my admits:
GWU : 25% scholarship being offered
UConn : Full tuition waiver and TA
I'll choose UConn, will end up having an MBA without a loan hanging over my head.

Admitted to GWU Global MBA and UConn Fulltime MBA
Hi everyone,
I got admission confirmation from the 2 universities that I had applied to. I will have to wait until next week to hear about any scholarship / funding that these institutions would be offering.
Good luck to everyone applying to the Fall program.
Regards,
Anup

Hey, Its absolutely doable. I followed the 60 day guide, actually it has only hardcore studying for 45-50 days, the rest of it is optional stuff. Anyways, I did use it and hit a 650, I was targeting a 690 but then you should be ready for the +/- 5% swings. One other thing I would suggest is to focus...

Hi, I guess you got all the ammunition that you need to fire away :) The OG guide is good to familiarize yourself with the kind of questions that you would come across, however it doesn't teach you the tips and tricks that are needed to solve fast and solve correctly. The Manhattan GMAT courses are ...

Hi, Round 3s are in itself going to be very competitive given the fact that most of the seats have been filled. Your GMAT is definitely below the average for most good schools. But your entrepreneurial achievements and GPA scores should stand you in good stead. What are the schools you are targeting...

I had my interview at GWU on the 09th Feb. Now the long wait until 11th March to know the outcome. I feel good about the whole process. I also got to do a class visit and sat in on a Managerial accounting class. Got to attend the Maxon lecture series the previous night. Overall I like the environmen...

What schools are you looking at? Any particular concentrations that you are targetting? How is your GPA? It is a little late for 2011 admissions with most schools doing their round 3 application reviews. Maybe its worthwhile to review what your goals are and take a shot at GMAT in 6 months time. Vis...

Just got back from the test
Finally I'm done and dusted with GMAT. Scored 650 (Q45,V34). Am I disappointed, guess a wee bit, I think I was performing much better than a 650. Anyways, nothing can be done about that. Didn't have a single probability question :). The AWAs were pretty easy, in fact the Issue essay was a topic that...

Beat the GMAT practice Question
If x and y are positive integers, is y a prime number?
(1) xy is a prime number.
(2) y2 is even.
Could someone answer this,
My answer was E, the OG is C. If it has to be C then the question isn't worded correctly

Stmt 2 6y^2 + 41y +25 is EVEN => 6y^2 + 41y is ODD (EVEN -ODD = ODD) IF y is EVEN then 6y^2 = ODD => y^2 is not an integer IF y is ODD then 6y^2 = ODD => y^2 is not an integer Is my reasoning correct? Whether y is even or odd, 6y² is always even. And what do you mean/conclude by saying "y² i...
