D is correct. As for E, even if other restaurants say the same thing, VP can still say "Not so,..it was due to widespread decline" With E we are nowhere relating widespread decline to pen and paper to convincingly undermine VPs argument.

Its good to practice LSAT if you are targetting 700+ questions. The passages are a bit complex in LSAT and the closeness of the answer choices is much more than that found in GMAT. If you are targetting less than 700, then practicing LSAT would demoralize you a bit.

What is desired is both Balanced Trade and Rising Standard of Living.
B satisfies only Balanced Trade.
E does not satisfy any one of them.
Does that help?

Hi Vivian, I agree that increasing product quality can help meet/exceed expectations. But isnt it too strong to claim that it is the only way to meet the goal. There can be other ways to meet customer expectations too. Nowhere it is mentioned that it is necessary for quality advance to meet customer...

I cant believe that the first sentence is a Principle. It is a fact or a consideration. Principle is too generic a statement and not specific to Blind Studies or anything as such. For example, " Honesty is the best policy" or "Every citizen of the country must obey the laws laid by th...

That is what I precisely said. The boldfaces are changed and also some wordings of the answer choices too. The OA mentioned is C and it is not convincing. However, the word appealed has been taken from some other similar question with bold face changed. I dont mind you practising these modified ques...

This is one of the dubious versions of the OG Question floating around on forums. Just by changing location of boldfaces and some wordings in the answer choices. Please study only OG version of it so that there is no confusion. David has done a good job of posting it here: http://www.beatthegmat.com...

This looks to be more of a quantitative euphoria than a critical reasoning question. Please quote the source and the OA. From another forum, I have noticed that the OA is B. But E seems to be the one that is not supported by the statements in the passage. According to the argument, 1997: lets say x ...

None of the answer choices seem to Weaken the Argument. Highway is overcrowded and is a hindrance for shoppers. So, stores are struggling to survive. --> Causal provided. D is incorrect. Upper limit on the size of the shrimp which means that they cannot catch shrimps bigger than that. That is what the statement literally means and even if it is assumed to mean upper limit on the weight of the shrimp harvests, then it does not limit the number of recreational catchers...

I cannot understand the discussion where the causal relationship is tagged with conditional. The argument clearly says, Because of less representation, the funds are less". So, the answer choice says that had the representation been more, funds would have been more. Why insert a conditional and...

Hi Kanwar, As for D, my thinking also stopped at the same point as yours but this CR went too quant-wise than I thought. 20 students attended least which is 12. 10 attended greatest and rest 170 somewhere in between. So those 170 must have attended atleast 13 if not more than that AND the rest 10 wi...

It is impractical for academia to span for a day. So it cannot be convincingly said that ...
