Ans can not be A, it is B (A) 0<b<1 so A can be -1<A<1 so insufficient (B) A>B and A^2 = B so we know that A is a real fraction since only in case of a real fraction the square is less than or equal to the original value, meaning that A is 0<A<1 E.g. A = 1/2 and B=1/4 A = 1/3 and B = 1/9

B sounds correct
Reason is that B tells us that hunters can kill so much and given the current rate of killing the 5% max kill are not reached by the close of the season. So dropping the upper limit on max kill won't help.

When you see this think sets
This is a consecutive number set from 1 to 99 so the number of terms is 99
the mean (avg) of the terms is (1+99)/2 = 50
so the sum = mean x number of terms = 50 x 99 = 4950

Another way to solve such problems is to understand that power of 5 can only come from 10 in this case. Since, there is no other source to get 5 but the 10, look at it's power and that will be the answer.
so power of 5 on LHS will be 35.
