There is nothing that anchors these points to each other. K could be very close to J, or it could be very close to L. These different position would create different distances from K to L.

Comparison all the way. You need to compare what the Democrats reported to what the Republicans reported.

Whenever you see words that are comparison related make sure that you compare nouns to nouns and verbs to verbs. This is an easy way to eliminate answers right away.

If you trim some of the words you will get the following:

One Legacy .... is ......

The legacy will not be a verb, but rather a noun. In this case 'the realization'

I really would recommend taking the exam again. Your quant score is in the 50th percentile. Most of the top programs will look for your quant score to be at least at the 80th percentile. Hope that helps.

Jim

You definitely have a shot. The GMAT is the most important thing for you right now. Get that squared away and you can craft your story. A 680 vs a 750 (just random numbers) will give you a very different position from which to write your essays.

One thing at a time...

Again, not a GMAT question. Please only post questions that are related to the exam.

I think you have a shot at the schools you mentioned, but if you can get a score that is more in line with the mock scores you have received it will greatly improve your chances.

Give it one more go, and good luck!

First figure out how many groups of 2 there are in total from the 8 pieces of paper:

8 * 7 / 2! = 28

From there I would just count the different groups of 11 & 12

3 + 8 = 11
3 + 9 = 12
4 + 7 = 11
4 + 8 = 12
5 + 7 = 12

5/28 = C

You have a lot of information in this, so let me explain with a couple examples:

[noun] that [verb]

The noun and and the verb must agree

bird that is - this is a singular noun and verb
birds that are - this is a plural noun and verb

Does this make sense?
