If the thought of retaking the GMAT is "exhausting" then don't do it. You'll be defeated before you start. Schools look at your entire application, not just the GMAT score.

You seem to be highly motivated and doing well studying on your own. It seems that reviewing your mistakes and being careful will adequately help you. If you think you'd benefit from a class, then go for it.

To improve CR you might try some Logical Reasoning problems from the LSAT. These problems tend to be more difficult and often provide better practice.
