Yea, you should definitely be careful with your sense of humor. Especially in a classroom environment, it can be very disrupting if someone is constantly cracking jokes. Even worse, what if they are not funny? In business school, much of your grade is based on positive classroom contributions. A se...

If you get into a top school like UCLA Anderson for the full time program, I highly recommend you bite the bullet and just do it. Opportunities like that are hard to find. Especially if you want to get out of working for small companies, the recruiting opportunities will be much different in the fu...

I think this is a nice/fine essay -- although there are some areas in which you will see points subtracted. Second sentence is missing an "a" between 'due to' and 'lower' -- and it also feels very close to a run-on sentence. I think you'd also benefit from some better organizational struct...

Hi rrobinns407, Take as many practice tests as possible. Spend as much time in analyzing your performance in the test. Typically if you spend 2 hours in a mock test, spend 4-5 hours in analyzing your performance and take a note on how to attempt each question better, faster and smarter. Make sure y...

After I study whole chapter of Manhattan Strategy Guides, I notice that problem sets at end of chapters are very challenging. I'm sure there's an argument to be made for "I wish they all felt very easy" -- but, there's value in understanding that the content you are learning is testing an...

Brian, Yes, I'm happy with the score (which was actually a 49Q/44V) although it's overkill for my original school of choice. Now I have the added difficulty of considering other "better" options. As far as tips, I would recommend both Manhattan Prep and the 60-Day guide. Like many others,...

It's cotton cloth, right? Maybe I am missing something in your question, but that seemed pretty straightforward to me.

Post back if I misinterpreted what you are asking for here.

Thanks.

Totally agree with Rich on this one. I happen to be a fan of our books (biased of course.) But, the books are only words on pages -- it is the plan you will put together to figure out how to best use those books that will really matter. I'm including tow great articles here from my old friend Stacey...

It might seem like a stupid question -- but you're happy right? Sounds like a really positive 'test-day' score experience versus where you had been on previous practice/prep-work!!!

Congrats!! Any other tips you'd leave for future generations of test takers?

All the best,

Brian

Here's an oldie, but goodie, article from my dear friend Stacey that talks a great deal about the importance of error logs, how to keep them, how to actually do them when you don't want to, and how to leverage them to improve your process, approach and score. http://www.manhattangmat.com/articles/er...
