Its best to assume numbers and solve this one. Let number of tetra-packs of A and B sold be 10 each. So, n = 10/20 = 50%. Revenue generated from A = $10 and from B = $15. So, m = 10/(10+15) = 10/25 = 40%. Now, go by options by putting n into each of the options and checking value of m. A 100n/(150-n...

C answers the question directly and shows clearly why the cost of reclamation has come down. B can be a plausible answer provided you infer a lot of things and usually GMAT is slightly direct in its line of questioning. Firstly, B talks about usage of coal in general and we are talking of coals from...

Hi, What is the source of the question? As far as I understand, A cannot be correct because the word "they" in the original sentence seems to point to psychiatrists and this does not make sense. I think that "they" is misplaced in the original sentence. I would go with D as the c...

Good question!!! If we break down h(100), we get, h(100) = 2*4*6*......100 = 2^50 (1*2*3*4...*50) So, h(100) contains all natural numbers upto 50. Hence, h(100) + 1 cannot have a prime number less than 50 because it will always yield a reminder of 1. Hence, least prime factor of h(100) + 1 will be g...

I guess you have to calculate in this question to be able to answer it. Yes, you can automatically eliminate A and B individually because it is clear from the question itself. But to eliminate both together you need to calculate and after calculating you will find that even both together are not suf...

Anyone (one word) is an indefinite pronoun and refers to any person and not to particular individuals. Any one is an adjective phrase that refers to specific but unidentified things or individuals. Example: The enemy is anyone who's going to get you killed, no matter which side he's on. Does any one...

Real tough one, this!!! Two things here. First of all the modifier "in attributing" is misplaced because it seems to be modifying the perpetrators but actually it is the defense lawyers who are attributing and not the perpetrators. So, A is incorrect. Ditto with C and E as well. Here's the...

increased should be followed by "more than a factor of two" and not twice which is an adverb. So, A and B are eliminated. In D, was more than indicates a comparison. For instance, the number of footballs was more than the number of basketballs. Here it is saying that the number of universi...
