Yes the OA is A.

I also chose E and got it wrong.

As A chooses extreme words 'almost entirely' .... hence it is shown as correct ans.

Good catch Night reader and cyrwr1 !!

Cant say what shd be the rank of this q. but looks to me yes it could be of the range > 650.

It shd be D.

'Like' when used as a preposition is used to compare two nouns.

'As' is a subordinating conjuction & is used to introduce a dependent clause. Also we know clause shd have a subject and verb.

So D has a subject and verb in it and it properly compares the verb phrases.

yes the OA is C. But I could not understand one thing here. As we know that possesive noun can never be the antecedent of an subject or object pronoun. In this case, object pronoun 'him' should refer to Marco Polo. But Marco Polo is never mentioned in the sentence. e.g Jose's room is so messy that h...

IMO it is B.

Simplify the equation. Assume 3^x = a in the equation and write it down again.

It will come into this form (a^2)/9 - (5a)//9 = 66

solve this . a = 27 or -22.

now put 3^x = 27 ... which means x = 3
