I too think A is sufficient here. 10P6
B does not give us the exact number of prizes which could either be 2 or 3 per scholarship.

Can the experts Ian or Stuart please help with this one?

I too was a little confused because both lines had the same slope and a line can always be parallel to itself!

Anju, you are right about the answer.
The approach needs a correction though.

The options 2,4 and 6 are remainders.
Thus,
If the remainder = 2, k = 34. 34^4 is not divisible by 32
