I clearly see that the 7-B answer explanation itself says the statement is Inferable Hey champwix! The way they have these answers formatted can make it confusing, but the INFER at the top of the answer isn't saying that the correct answer Can be Inferred, it is telling you what "type" of...

Be careful hemant_rajput - IR is absolutely ALL or NOTHING! This means that if you're working on a question that has 3 parts (like three ...

In the correct answer, I don't understand why the upper limit for gallons is 10.5. If it is 10.5, that number would be rounded to eleven. The same with the upper limit for milles. If it is 105, that number would be rounded to 110. This is a great question metallicafan! I think the thing you want to...

Hi topspin360! This is a tricky problem to do algebraically because of the various configurations for the triangle (is it right, isosceles, equilateral, nothing??). So maybe we just start making up some numbers that work. We are only asked about perimeters, so as long as we make the sides of the tri...

Hi SirSriracha! I can definitely see how the language can be confusing, particularly when we're not sure if the question requires new assumptions! When in doubt, I would say that we want to avoid making new assumptions, particularly those that require additional calculations (like doubling the price...

Can someone explain how you simplify #1 to #2? Can't seem to see how they arrived at the simplification in #2. 1) x(x-1)^2 + 5(x-1)^2 = 0 2) (x+5)(x-1)^2 = 0 Hi Woodencrawdad! This factorization might be a bit difficult to see right away, so I would recommend using a "substitution" trick ...
