Celestia, The 8 MGMAT books were the most effective and efficient study guide for me. I think they do a much better job than the OG at explaining problem types, formulas, solving techniques, etc. I would start with one of the more basic math books and work your way to the harder ones. Read through t...

For 700+ questions I suggest the advanced section of the MGMAT books.
LSAT guide for critical reasoning if you really want it, but I found MGMAT to be more than sufficient.
It sounds like you got killed by the mental part of this test. Take this part just as serious as the math and verbal...

RC is a challenge in that there is no clear formula. Besides the insights I mentioned in my post, I don't think I found many tips. RC can definitely be frustrating when it's not clicking. One thing I forgot in my post...for RC, read the initial question before reading the passage. This will give you...

Thanks, will look into it. I actually took some correspondence courses through BYU back in high school. Sorry about your experience, there are far too many people like that running around.

I really can't give you an educated opinion on this one.
Post this in the following forum and they should be able to give you very good feedback.

I'd love to get a Q50 with 20 minutes to spare, congrats on that. :) As for verbal, read that section of my debrief (in my signature area below) and let me know if that helps. I found that the ABCDE checklist helped me the most in making quick and accurate decisions. I did not re-evaluate many optio...

kanagasu, Hang in there. At this point I think the test is mostly mental. For example, correctly handling a question that kills your confidence, or knowing when to move on even if you know you could get the right answer with a few more minutes. I see many posts on here by people that are shocked by ...

rk10,
Will probably need 650+ unless you have great work experience, etc.
I suggest the 8 Manhattan GMAT books. I found MGMAT to be the best guide and the online practice tests will also give you a detailed analysis of your results and show you exactly where you are struggling...

Congrats.
The MGMAT tests do low ball by about 50 pts, exactly my experience. Love the course, but it can mess with ya if you don't realize how much harder it is.

Congrats man. I second the MGMAT recommendation, by far my favorite course. I found their problems to be harder than the official ones, especially the DS problems. It is ridiculous how much info can be gleaned from those upper level data sets! Anyway, as you discovered, MGMAT does exactly what it ad...
