Vertices of a trianle
The points (-10,0), (0.5), (10,0) are vertices of a triangle. If x and y are integers , how many points (x,y) are in the interior of this triangular region? I can understand that x axis can have a total of 19 points but what about y axis. Should the answer be 19*5?... Please help me solve this... T...

How many natural numbers require 3 digits when written in base 12 but requires 4 digits when written in base 9?

Can someone help me find the sum of the series:
1/(2*4) + 1/(4*6) +1/(6*8) + 1/(8*10).......... +1/(18*20)

Mean= 1000/10 = 100
S.D= 22.4
one SD below mean is 100-22.4 = 77.6
So there are only 2 values satisfying 70 and 75
Note if the question says away from mean instead of below mean then we should also consider values > 100 + 22.4

I bought certain number of oranges at three for a dollar and five sixth of that number at four for a dollar. If I sold all my oranges at 16 for six dollars, I would make a profit of three and a half dollars. How many oranges did I buy?

The mean median and mode for a set of data are equal: 30,40,80,50,x. What is X?
My doubt is that the Mode cannot be more than 2 and how can the median be 2?Am I reading the question correctly?
