I have written a new letter, I used some of your sentences and some of mine, but the structure of it is different than the previous one. It is way too long though. We will have to cut some parts out.. I am adding it below, and I would like to you to tell me if this approach is better or if I should ...

So as you ordered (:P), I removed some useless stories, and I added some other information (hopefully didnt make it worse). Also I worked on the sentences, because I had Flesch-Kincaid Reading Ease score 34. Now it is..31..still not good enough.. I didn't touch the part about UvA, I e-mailed two alu...

I fixed some parts of it, and here it is. I still have problems with introduction. And I don't know if it was too specific to give names of courses and teachers. (I also e-mailed you this) Dear Sir/Madam; I am writing to apply to your Master program in International Finance. My career goal is to work...

Could you please help me make this letter better? I have 710 gmat, 103 toefl and 2.43 gpa.. I wanted to add information about that I was working all the time during my first years in the college, which is why my GPA is low, but I didn't know how to phrase that. And in my last year, I wasn't working,...

Well with the amount of practice you put in, you definitely beat the GMAT! Congrats! It's funny you should mention the DSF, we're having courses together with those guys! I'm pretty sure your GMAT won't stand in the way of getting in, but here's a hot tip: if you feel like retaking the test, then y...

710 (Q50 - V 36) - Have I beaten the GMAT or not?

Hello, My test was today. I haven't really had any time to study for the test, because I have been working too much and I was almost never home and free. I just had time to do practice tests and that is all. Without any preparation, I took CAT1 (12 Dec) and I scored a 710 (Q50, V36), then I reviewed...

I have to agree with Arun, take the GMATPrep Tests as soon as possible. You can take each of the two tests at least 2 times. Leave the other tests aside unless you need more than 4 more practice tests! The toughest official GMAT problems you can get - in terms of quant - would probably be the GMAT ...

Thanks Arun, I might listen to you and take it tomorrow night. Tonight, I took another MGMAT after working 10 hours. I started the test at 10pm and scored a 720 with 51 Quant and 37 Verbal. Considering I take most of the tests at night when I am tired, I am hoping that if I score 700+ in those, I ca...

Two days left to the test!

Hello, My test is on the 27th of this month, i.e. in a week. I haven't really had any time to study for the test, because I have been working too much and I am almost never home and free. I just have time to do practice tests and that is all. Without any preparation, I took CAT1 (12 Dec) and I score...

Congrats man!

What was your first practice test score two months ago? Also, can you compare Kaplan and MGMAT practice tests with the real GMAT?

Thanks!

EssaySnark says, unfortunately a 2.5 GPA is going to be more of an obstacle for you for the Haas fin eng program than the standard Haas MBA -- and the standard Haas MBA is tough enough with not-great grades. This is going to be a stretch. Obviously you'll need to NAIL that GMAT -- particularly the ...

I could be wrong but I think Haas' fin engineering program only takes the GRE. Nope, they take GMAT too. I asked the questions I had in my mind and they said, they are looking for 90 percentile in Quant and 70 in Verbal, also minimum 3.00 GPA. But they do evaluate all the applications, I mean they ...
