Early Action at Tuck

Any idea of how much a leg-up, if at all, applying to Tuck in the early round gives you in the admissions process? I am trying to figure it out for myself, and there is, unsurprisingly, not much intel out there on the web. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

Do Schools Review Your Apps While They're in Progress?

I ask because there are a few areas of the online app in one of my schools that I drafted in one way and had in their system for a month. I later modified it quite a bit. I would like the one which the adcom is judging me by to the one that I ultimately submitted. But do they keep any sort of record...

Length of Rec Letters (Tuck and Wharton)

The Wharton and Tuck rec forms are particularly demanding, as many of you probably know. Can you give me any sense of how long the responses should be? Should there be long, flowery paragraphs after each question or more pointed (less detailed) answers? My recommender wants to know, as this is going...

Explaining Extenuating Circumstances

I'll keep it general. How receptive are admissions offices to hearing about bouts with mental illness. I had one that caused me to take a brief leave of absence from worth. I think I have a good story in my essays to tell about how I've been a high achiever (good work experience, recs, school, GMATS...

Thanks for the tip - I have done all of the problems in the OG Guide and in the OG Quant Guide, as well as time practice sets with old GMAT paper tests, pre-CAT. I am going to take one of the official GMATPrep CATs this weekend, and maybe a Princeton Review test too. I make a post reporting how I do...

In the Kaplan premier suite, there is one test that is not adaptive. It has one set of questions right after the other - it's essentially a paper test, but only online. However, the other four or five Kaplan tests are adaptive; the questions are intermingled, and I can tell you from experience that ...

Kaplan 2010 CATs

I am in the last three weeks of GMAT studying. I have taken 4 Kaplan CATs and received the following scores: 670;640;750;660, in that order. I have not yet taken the GMATPrep CATs. but plan to do so. I may also take a Princeton Review CAT. I am consistently getting 99 percentile in the verbal sectio...
