balancing the verbal score
Hi all - Just wanted to hear any thoughts/ experiences on variation of verbal scores. I've been in the 39-41 range ,and most recently ended up with a 36 on gmatprep verbal, even though I only missed 8 questions. the culprit? 5 out of the 8 were RCs. Sometimes I just miss the"little detail"...

On this question it seems REALLY easy to me to fall into the 4 variable, 4 equation trap. What is the "giveaway" in the problem that alerts you to look out for that ? The fact that Statement 1 says Cm=Cp?? Just wondering because I don't usually "CHECK" every equation fits, unless...

If R is the reaminder when positive integer is divided by 7.
If R is the remainder when positive integer is divided by 7, what is the value of r?
1) When n is divided by 21, the reaminder is an odd number.
2) When n is divided by 28, the remainder is 3.
