[(6^2)*44*(5^x)*20]/[8^2*9] = 1375

[6*6*11*4*5*4*(5^x)]/[4*2*4*2*3*3] = 1375
cancel common terms in Numerator and Denominator,

11 * 5 * (5^x) = 1375
11 * 5^(x+1) = 1375
5^(x+1)=1375/11 = 125
5^(x+1)=5^3

x+1 = 3
x=2.

1) 5^x = 11^y for example take x= 1, 2 , 3, 4 correspondingly, 5^x=5, 25, 125, 625 similarly for y=1 , 2 , 3 11^y= 11, 121, 1331 it clearly indicates that the unit digit for 5^x will always be 5 and for 11^y will always be 1. So you can never get any non-zero value which says 5^x = 11^y. We know tha...

Let Cost Price(CP)=x
Selling Price(SP) = 30% above CP
SP= 30% of x + x = 0.3x +x = 1.3x

Profit = SP - CP = 1.3x - x = 0.3 x
Its given that Profit is $21, so 21 = 0.3 x
x= 70.

SP = 1.3x = 1.3 * 70 = 91
Selling Price = $ 91.
