Hello there,

Yes, I did indeed think about this. I believe that I may amend this strategy - and start now.

Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it immensely.

I did speak to some of the students at UCLA...they did tell me that 30 would not be too old. Much more comforting to hear!

Angie

Please Evaluate - OLDER Applicant - THANKS!

I have tried to post in the other forums, but have had some problems getting an answer. If you have an issue with more than just two jobs on your re'sume', what is the best way to "tie" it all together? During the earlier part of my career, I worked in the film industry. I was a contractua...

I actually have a question related to this. If you find yourself taking the GMAT in November, is it possible to finish essays in 1.5 months?

Bryant,

This may be off topic...but do you accept clients? Is it possible to request your services when obtaining a consultant?

Hi There,e Thanks for the answer. My SC wasn't terrible, but I could totally improve it. Are you referring to the Power Score SC Bible? I do indeed have that. I plan to review it. I think my biggest hurdle is reviewing all the math and then feeling comfortable to move on towards the verbal section. ...

Finding Time to Study - Reposted per request from Stacey!

I am attempting to manage my time effectively. However, my work schedule has become hideously overwhelming! I cannot take time off....we do not have that policy at work. Also, I have been very exhausted and have a difficult time concentrating. I know the concepts...so a class would not really work f...

Hello there, Thanks for the suggestion! I think from this point on, I will be setting aside some time to study at work. I have a crappy cubicle, so people tend to harass me when I am there. I fully intend to put up a sign that says "I AM AT LUNCH"! Anyway, thanks again for your suggestion!...

Hello,

Thanks so much for that! I believe I may try to study the exam at work. That is a very good idea.

I may also try to speak with my boss about taking some time off. The GMAT is quite important, so I will need some time to do so.

Thanks again for the suggestions!

GMAT Prep: How to Balance with Work!

Hey All, I have been falling behind on my GMAT prep! I am really concerned, and would love some tips. I know you all must be really stressed with your own jobs, so how do you all find time to study? How do you manage? I have had lots of overtime and I have been incredibly tired. It has been tough to...

Strategy to Jump Start Study Plan - Help Requested

Hello All, I have been tackling a crazy work schedule (in addition to life issues) lately, so my GMAT prep has fallen off the rails. I plan to take this exam in late October. I have taken it before. This test is a true pain in the rear. So, I would like this to be the last time I take this. In any e...

GMAT study books...stick to one approach?

Hopefully, I am posting this question in the right place. If not, I apologize. I have started my Critical Reasoning portion of my study prep. I am working through the MGMAT study guide and the PowerScore CR Bible. However, my biggest confusion here is the differentiation between approaches by the au...

Hello there, I can actually be of help on this one. Surprising, but true! I took the Manhattan GMAT course. I must say that I did not score the best. It was not the fault of the course - it was me. I let the stress of a very bad situation in my personal life overshadow my studies. I digress... The c...
