(1) if in 2005 the sales in B were X, sales in A were (1/4)*x insuff
(2) if in 2006 the sales in B were x1. sales in A were (3/4)*x1
eveb together it is impossible to know
(3/4)*x1-(1/4)*x-? at least we need to know the ratio between x and x1

hi aspirant i understand your doubts about D, (D) that have a comparable size, and also they emit far less carbon dioxide gas and other gases that have as i think, far less here refers not only to carbon dioxide, but far less is implied before other gases, imagine that gasoline engines emit some gas...

i want to believe that B is wrong, because but is || marker, and it must connect || parts of the sentence, here but connects denounce but supporting that are not ||. perhaps better to write they denounce.....but support. main verbs are ||. or in case of two independent sentence they denounce....,but...

according to the problem, the value of x could be x=2 if x>=-2, or x could be x=-6 if x<-2
(1) says that x does not equal 2, or -2, so the only value of x left is x=-6
as |-6+2|=|-4|=4
