Also did you feel like a drop in the ocean on campus or how connected did it feel? Do older than 8 yr experience candidates get through to ISB PGP program and ho...

The 'which other schools have you applied to' question
Some schools do ask this in their online applications. I am wondering how do we answer this one? Obviously if the school asking this isn't our top choice program, then we can't mention the top school in the target school list in the answer to this question. I'm also wondering if this question could ...

Essay word count
Hi everyone. Although most schools publish a word count, since we upload documents that contain our essays, there is actually no text box enforcing word counts. So my question is by how many words is it acceptable to overshoot the max limit ? Say the Kenan Flagler ones are 500 words, the Haas is 750...

Hi Tohin, 8 yrs is about the top edge of the experience range that most schools publish in their class profiles. I think you have nothing to worry about. I'm a 32 yr old, 10 yr experience person applying this fall for a fulltime. I have seen this trend of many schools now moving into the EMBA/ weeke...

I think for UNC you need to upload scanned copies of your official transcript. Incase of admit or interview invite you should be able to get the sealed transcripts (physical ones) to them within 2 weeks. The general rule is that in such cases when you are unsure if you can ensure such a delivery tim...

Recommendation woes -question on choice of recommender
I have a choice among 3 for recommending me. You cannot retake a GMAT within 31 days of taking your first (as far as i remember). So you will need to apply in R3 if you plan to retake. R2 deadlines are Jan 1 to 15. I took my gmat on the 27th oct and the confirmation that the schools received the scores for me came on 1st Nov. But it could take...

Why should we not have to also subtract combinations of (x1,y1) = (x2,y2)=(x3,y3) , 9 such combinations, which would also not create a triangle.?

2010 - Best GMAT practice tests
Since the last poll (sticky on the GMAT strategy forum) was held in 2007, there are a few more GMAT companies that have made their mark. I thought it would be a good idea to have a fresh poll to understand public opinion as of 2010. Very interested in seeing what people think now. Note : The assumpt...
