Just a little help in Sentence Correction can go a long way. Even a couple of hours of tutoring can point you in the right direction. More work is a great idea but you just need to know what you are trying to learn from that studying.

Sounds like most of your focus will still be on Quant?

Your verbal score is fantastic and if you did not really study the first time around that score should still be great if you do a little practice. You might just be a natural on the verbal section. As for Quant, you asked: Is it a realistic expectation that 12-15 hours of tutoring & 2-3 months o...

You make some good points. However, the conditions in your area are not necessarily the conditions in other areas. People in other locations might find that they need to do something a little different. To your points: 1) You will probably not know 2 weeks ahead of time if something traumatic will h...

Congrats on a great practice test score! With that said, you never want to trust a single practice test score. It would be a great idea to take the GMATPrep official practice test @ MBA.com as well. If you get a similar score on that exam then you will know that you are in this range of scores. Thin...

I applaud this question for pointing to a very important issue. And I am talking about the subject matter. A recent New York Times article pointed out the importance of not eating anything within 3 hours of your bedtime. It turns out that eating late is a major cause of insomnia, allergies, nasal pr...

Although the question stem is a little different, this is an assumption question. On the actual GMAT nearly every assumption question will say "assumption" or "assumes." In this case "The argument above will not hold unless which of the following statements holds true?"...

Jesse - When did you take that test? What time of day? What had you been doing before that? The decisions you make during the day are cumulative and trying to take an exam after any sort of long or stressful day can be a disaster. I know that this is going to sound a little unrealistic, but realize ...

Do I take a few practice tests and then register for a top prep course? Should I self-study for a few months, take the actual GMAT and reassess where I'm at? I don't mind spending money if it will be worth my while, but really just looking for what the best route would be for achieving the highest ...

To be honest, as you move up in hours you will likely move down in return for your time invested. 70 hours per work is too much. That is 10 hours per day. Rich mentioned burnout and this a big concern. But there is also the fact that with so much studying you may actually end up doing things that wi...

You should also consider purchasing the two additional GMATPrep exams. $50 U.S. is expensive for just two exams, but they are official practice tests so they are worth it. These are in addition to the two free tests that you already used. Have you tried the Veritas Prep practice tests? You can try o...
