I'm not at any of your target schools, but I'll say that here at Tepper, I know of at least one full-time MBA mom. We also have a Partners Club that could be a resource for moms, so I'd recommend looking into a similar club at your favorite schools.

Ask a Part-Time MBA Student

Just wanted to add what I know here. A good friend and fellow part-time MBA student (Tepper) got pregnant and just had a beautiful baby girl a couple of months ago, and ended up taking a semester off school to deal with all of it. (This is her first child) I fear that she's going to drop out due to ...

Pardon me, pradeepsarathy , but if you don't mind me adding to beatvit 's response: Are you mobile with Capgemini? I'm not sure where you're currently located or if you can be transferred within your company to a location closer to these schools, but if you're planning to uproot and move yourself to...

Hello, I'm interested in doing a part time program and had a few questions. 1) How much time do you usually spend on MBA related things during the week? 2) How hard is it to maintain a good work/school/life balance while doing a part time program? 3) Do you feel like you are getting the same qualit...

Congrats!

Are you already located in the Pittsburgh area or will you move and look for a job to work full time and attend part-time?
Thank you! I'm a native Yinzer, so I'll keep my full-time job in the Strip District and attend part time...and pray that I can juggle it all.

I'm in like Flynn! (whatever that actually means...)

I was just accepted into the part-time FlexTime program at Tepper. I'm thrilled! Though I'm a bit wary of committing the next three years to working full time then attending school part time, it will be worth it in the end.

I got dinged on Jan. 21. I suspect it was because my GMAT was lower than average (640) but also because Stern slipped in the rankings quite a bit, and I'm sure they're eager to raise their mean GMAT score to reclaim top-10 status. At least, that's what I like to think.

Did you post this question in another area? I answered a similar question in another thread, I guess. I met with Bailey at Rotman, and when I expressed dismay at my 610 GMAT score (now slightly higher after a third try), she said that a 610 won't put anyone in the reject pile automatically. It may n...

Well, it's a waitlist for me. Time to start praying like hell. Anyone else in the WL ? Oh no! I'm sorry to hear it. If it makes you feel any better, I've decided to apply to the part-time program instead of the full-time, so that's one less person to compete with (that's assuming that I'm a good co...

I interviewed with a Rotman (U of Toronto) adcom at an MBA fair, and her response to my 610 GMAT score was that I wouldn't be rejected because of it. I may not get scholarships, but it didn't reduce my chances of admission.
