Does anybody have an answer-explanation why is C? I thought the maximum area on this case could be achieved by having the diagonal as a diagonal of a square?

any hints around???

I am greatly disappointed because i have put some serious effort. Nevertheless, i am going to repeat it after a month or two focus...

Up to now I have done 2 CATs from Manhattan and on both i had serious problem with time since i left in the end 4 questions unanswered. I have not tried Kaplan's, I am going to to do them shortl...
