You know what really bothered me? I took the writing, then took my 8 minute break. I went outside to the lobby, used the bathroom, and then came back, probably about 4 minutes to go on my break. I asked to go back in and sit down, and I planned to gather my thoughts for the remainder of my 8 minutes...

Before I get into it, I must admit that the verbal comes a lot easier for me. I think it is because I read every day. I used the MGMAT books and took the classroom course. Actually having a teacher for the verbal helped, especially in sentence correction and Critical Reasoning. You mentioned Reading...

But when I took the exam (680 first time, taking it again in a few weeks), I wasn't allowed to access any of my stuff during the breaks. if your problem is with concentration, be sure you're on a good sleep schedule (not just one night of good sleep, but regularly go to bed at the same time, and make sure you have at least 7 hrs). This is most important. After that, consider what time you took the GMAT... are you a morning person or ...

vivekjaiswal- that is an interesting way to attack... if I guess on a problem, and am not sure whether I got it right or wrong, i should commit some extra time to the next problem.

is it true that consecutive wrong answers hurt more than spread apart ones?
