For PS+DS : MGMAT Quant books + OG(12 and QR) + 198 problems doc + MGMAT CATs are enough.Study them in the order given. You will be good. For RC: I studied both RC99 and LSAT RC.Personally I felt RC99 are better as they have more boring topics and kind of making you say WTH in the middle of your pas...

Jesse, What books you have studied so far? Getting 40 in Quant is not that difficult. If you have time buy MGMAT Quant books else buy Kaplan math book and go through all questions in OG 12 twice(esp last 80 questions). For Verbal again not sure what books you are referring now.MGMAT SC is must.Any o...

Thanks to BTG!!!
Well, this is not a typical debrief of a 700+ score applicant. I scored 600 but succeeded in getting in India's top ten business school(well top 5 in 1 year MBA). I know 600 is not a big score but I feel I would not have scored even 600 hadn't BTG been there. I am mainly writing this post for 2 reas...

Thanks Dave for the reply. I find your posts on CR pretty helpful .I haven't tried doing much LSAT CRs. Planning to start LSAT CR from today onwards by going through your questions. Went through your 2010 GMAT CRs already. Also, is Veritas Critical Reasoning 2 more advanced than part 1? Also do they...

David, I know this thread is kind of old. But I have few doubts. My friend gave me a book called as 'SuperPrep LSAT' . Do the questions in this book match in terms of difficulty to those in LSAT book you mentioned earlier? Also I completed OG Verbal and OG 12 CR. I first did OG 12 with 70% accuracy ...

Congrats and thanks for an awesome debrief!!! Could you please let me know what you did between GMAC2-590 and GMAC 2 retake(700)? That looks quite a good jump in 15 days-good enough to make olympic long jumpers shy.Like did you revised the existing concepts and problems or worked on new harder probl...

Although GMAT score is valid for 5 years, few colleges prefer GMAT scores taken within a specified range ,such as within 2 years. Again word "FEW" is caveat here. Also, there is another thing which you must keep in mind. As you grow old , your aptitude ,stamina ,desire and available time for...

What materials you are studying? MGMAT's Quant books are the best in quant prep. If you solve OG problems , by the end of 180 problems or so,you will start seeing a pattern. These 2 things must be able to take your score to 40.To take it above 40 you have to work bit harder and refer some hard pract...

Manhattan Review Sentence Correction Guide is the most popular one and as the subject mentions it is for SC only.
I guess the other one is for entire Verbal-SC,RC and CR. I have never heard about it before.
