Let me tell you something. If you were in my shoes, wouldn't you be a little curious and a little pissed as to why you received a lower score than someone with the exact same scaled splits? If you weren't curious then I would actually be a little concerned.
No hard feelings

Confused, I, too, am confused as I have just encountered a similar situation. Were you ever able to receive a sufficient answer? Ian's response does make sense, but that doesn't make it right in the eyes of the person who got the shorter end of the stick. Ultimately you're right--10 points isn't goi...

So I received the following response from GMAC: Thank you for contacting Pearson VUE GMAT Customer Service with your concern. You and your friend may have scored the same on the unofficial scores, but once the essay scores are calculated, scores will vary person to person. Awesome. Obviously, this r...

Thanks, Eric. I posted a reply in another post about score discrepancies as I received a 690 (Q47, V38) but took the test within one month of the person who got a 700. I just followed up with the GMAC people and they're going to send me a response. I'll let everyone know what happens. If what they r...

Hey Jeff Congrats on your great score! However, I am actually a little puzzled but pleasantly surprised by your score. I, too, got a Q47 / V38 but my score was a 690 (took gmat about a month ago). I'm assuming you didn't make a mistake :) so is that your official or unofficial score? Technically, it...

Hey liferocks- Thanks for the response. Official answer is actually C The second statement should be x>3 or x<3 so inefficient. Together, you know that x can't be 3 (based on statement 2) so x=1/3, which is less than 1. I might be going crazy but what's the rule for absolute value inequality questio...

In the question it is given that *abcd*= (3^a)(5^b)(7^c)(11^d) now for abcd ,a is the digit at thousandth place and so on... if we map the same logic for *m* = (3^r)(5^s)(7^t)(11^u) i.e let m=abcd then *m*=(3^a)(5^b)(7^c)(11^d)=(3^r)(5^s)(7^t)(11^u)..shows a=r or r is the digit at thousands place a...
