We should be able to safely rule out E based on the awkawardness of the structure, so let's go to A-D. A: "when a child" is improper because we're referring to patients, which is plural, so patients at large were never "a child" B: when children....what? here, children could be t...

My analysis of this question: Conclusion: Invest more in offshore operation AND invest less in oil on tankers. Premise: 1. Offshore operation has UNAVOIDABLE risk of oil spill 2. Importing oil on tankers entails greater risk per barrel of oil. So, Real weakener would one that weakens the conclusion...

E tells us nothing about why credit was extended after the first year; all it tells us is that not 100% of the clothing trade was affected by the recession (i.e. there are sub-segments of the trade which did fine despite the economic downturn). Howevre, that fact doesn't give an explanation for why ...

According to a recent school survey, the number of students who regularly attend religious services on campus has increased 50 percent from the figure 10 years ago. It must be an increased spirituality at our college that has massively reduced incidences of cheating on exams during this period. Whi...

GMAT for non-MBA programs?
Was wondering if anyone knew of non-MBA programs (and similarly programs not specifically tailored to business) that accept the GMAT score in lieu of the GRE or other test.
Thanks!

Oddly enough, I also scored a 690 with the exact same percentiles in quant and verbal. If you want to retake for the possible 10 point jump, it's not a terrible idea. However, adcom's see enough apps to know that the difference between a 690 and 700 is just 10 points and that a 690 is still a very g...

Took the GMAT for the 2nd time today:
690 (42Q, 41 V)
So yeah, still haven't reached that 700 mark.
Question: Should I retake a third time? Is it worth it? Do admissions officers care about the 3rd time? Thanks!

I just did a runthrough of GMATPrep and wanted to skip the Verbal section because I was only interested in Quant. I clicked the last answer for every single question, finishing in 2 minutes, and scored a 9...

Update: Hey everyone, I can use some advice. So after getting a summer job, signing up for an LSAT course, and trying to enjoy my 21st birthday, I neglected my GMAT prep for the early summer, and last week signed up to take the test a second time on July 9th. I took two GMATPrep tests, and it's been...

goingcrazee,
You improve 160 points from your first test. Good job! 550 is around the average score and is not terrible. However, I'd take it again if you feel you can improve.
