I am not sure if I agree with the instructor here. Like is used to compare nouns, so we are only left with B and C. In this case B should be the answer. What is the OA??

E is incorrect for wrong idiom usage...contributed in and not for the past perfect tense? Is that correct?

From the answer choices, only A keeps the subject consistent (singular). IMO A, but it does sound strange saying Stores and then using singular subject.

I also went with B as the answer, but my reason for eliminating E was the word Companies that rely on,,,,,The argument is about Internet companies and not just some random companies. Is my reasoning correct?
