mmvc, you can totally do it! To answer your question, I spent on average about eight hours a day (some days more, some days less) for three weeks and studying however often I could for the other week. I was very fortunate to have some time off. Although time input does directly equal product output,...

auh, no. Scanning first then turning back to the passage, that just sounds like a lot of time for handling RC questions Oh sorry if I didn't explain that clearly. You scan the passage for structure and then you refer back to the details only when asked about the details. I too had a horrible time i...

550 (around Q42, V23) – 720 (Q 47, V 42)

So, a few years back I took the GMAT and made two major mistakes that resulted in a low score (550). I contribute this to two main things. • I assumed I would do better on the actual test because of adrenaline (although I did get a 700 on one of the practice tests (Manhattan GMAT), that was an ano...

Ok, so I got it down to D and E. But then I faced an issue. D is awkward, but E changes and to or. I felt that changing and to or was a meaning change and went with D. I have seen other questions say that such a change (and to or and vice versa) can be considered a meaning change. Any tips for picki...

If you get lost in the details, just plug in the answers.

For 16:

x(sqr2) = 16
x = 16/(sqr2)

Now plug in 16/(sqr2) for x into your original formula. If the numbers match that's the right choice
2x + x(sqr2) = Original Formula

Ok two more thoughts. First one, many people at the end of their test tend to rush the last couple questions out of anticipation to see the final score. This can seriously ding a verbal score. Second, one thing I am just realizing is that the books are on to something. I don't know how many times I ...

Test Scores?

How have the scores in your tests compared to students' actual results? I was looking to find an answer but haven't seen anything. http://gmatclub.com/gmat-score-calculator/

Look forward to your response.

Did you do your practice tests with the AWA essays? I think that is something many people forget that your brain becomes fatigued and your verbal section takes a hit.

Just think of it this way, it doesn’t matter what color you chose first, so ignore that. No suppose you chose any color, what is the probability of choosing a match….1/5 Because you have one marble that will match that selection out of a total of 5 marbles left. what if the ratio of color of ba...

Nothing in the original sentence states or implies that leaching is no longer used as a method of mineral extraction. On the contrary, leaching was well-established as early as the 18th century (again, nothing here indicates that it was no longer used after the early 18th century). 25 years ago, mi...
