Columbia - Not accepting Early Decision Admit
Hi,
Does anyone know if there are any repercussions of not accepting an admit from Columbia's Early Decision round (after having paid 6000 $) ?
Is it just an ethical contract that you can release yourself from by paying 6000 $, or does it have any other ramifications ?

Guys, one more question
Is it worthwhile to apply for a revaulation of the AWA essays..??
Does the revaluation usually result in an increase in AWA scores... or is it not really worth the effort..??

So I just found out my AWA was 4.5 and I am definitely not happy about this. I certainly thought I scored better than that, but I guess not. yeah many guys from India might not agree with you on this... thanks to booming IT sector in the country. i do agree with you in general terms. but you just cant ignore the fact that ave. starting sal of a fresh BE CHEM is ~4000 Rs. whereas ave IT guy's earn ~16000 Rs. in the beginning of his caree...
