Hi Heyabhi, If you haven't already, I recommend taking the GMAT again to improve your score. Although a low GMAT isn't a deal break, with so much time remaining before the application is due, taking the GMAT again is probably the best way that you can improve your chances of getting accepted into UC...

Hi Giorgio, Because of your low GPA and age, which is a bit on the younger side, you are going to really want to stress why you want to get an MBA now and how your interest in schooling has changed over the past couple of years. Have you taken the GMAT once or twice? If only once, I would recommend ...

I think you should take the GMAT again since you have so much time before the 1st round or 2nd, depending on when you choose to apply.

I do not know enough about you to effectively suggest schools.

What schools are you trying to get accepted into? If it's top 5/10, you are going to have a hard time using time constraint as an excuse for not taking the GMAT twice, particularly if a lot of other applications, who also work long hours, will be figuring out a way to take a twice. I think you will ...

Hi MBABound, Have you taken the GMAT once or twice? If only once, I would recommend taking it again. This second time will not only hopefully improve your score but also demonstrate your desire for admittance into a top school. For your long-term goal, I would put something in that's a bit more exci...

Some admissions officers say that it reflects poorly on you if you go over the word limit, stating that you do not have a clear message and aren't good at following direction. So if possible, I would try to get it under the word limit. In my experience, I've seen an acceptable word limit of between ...

Hi Simon, It really depends on what you want to get out of the program, meaning what you want. Here is a great quote on the difference between the two: "Different levels of management have different needs. The Executive MBA is targeted at older, more experienced individuals who consciously want...

Hi Valleen, I'd like to add more to why I think you should go for. My advice is in reference to a line I read in your first post: "But I have average undergraduate grades and a pretty decent GMAT score just enough for the school I applied to." This means that if you go head-to-head with mo...

Considering the amount of time you have until the applications are due, I would definitely take the GMAT again. From the little information you've supplied, it looks like you have enough experience for an MBA and will have leadership, recos, etc for a Booth or Kellogg MBA.

Are you comparing Yale to Cornell in your essays? I would probably talk about your affinity for the color Red :) Just kidding, I'm not really sure what you're asking here, could you explain further?

Thanks,

- Brett
