Well, I had the same problem and while searching in the internet, i found wordcounttool.com where you can just copy your essay and paste it in the site and get the word count. In my opinion, its as simple as downloading and installing a software in your comp.

I salute your courage and confidence that keeps you moving forward in life despite many problems you face. In my opinion, it is safe that you describe your problem in that essay which may portray your honesty and straight-forwardness to the adcoms. Maybe some expert can chip in and advice.

Which version of kaplan CATs you used? Kaplan has revised their scoring algorithm in its latest edition and its scoring now way better than their previous editions. But i think you should still take a GMATPrep CAT once. I guess you're marching towards the end of prep since you have been studying for...

Thanks :) The reading comp has always been my strongest section, although I definitely got a long difficult one towards the end. Curiously, on both attempts I got a scary easy reading comp passage in the middle. For me, I think I dabbled a little too long on some sentence correction questions, whic...

GMAT prep 1: 760 (V48, Q47) GMAT prep 2: 760 (V47, Q49) Actual GMAT: 760 (V51, Q46) While the unreasonably high verbal score is welcome, the fact that I bombed on the quant part (after several weeks of studying) is hugely disappointing and what's worse, it's below the magical 80 percentile. So, I h...

Very sorry to hear your test experience. But the good thing is you now got a fair idea on how the exam is. And now you know how important time management is not only during the exam but also during the breaks. Just work a bit more hard on verbal and I am sure you will come out successfully in the se...
