The effect of the advanced full-year calendars prepared by the North American Indians is not known from the sentence to be present now. So the thing is past and hence we may not use "have developed" in the sentence. 'evidence of' and 'evidence that', both are correct but we should be wary ...

So in effect the argument says vow caused invention. This is apparently ignoring a lot of other reasons for the invention. So, the flaw in the...

This is a method of reasoning question. This calls for a very keen observation of each and every word of the answer options. Stimulus: Journalistic practice of fabrication -- decried on the grounds that it is unfair misrepresentation. But actual remarks seldom convey the idea as do distillation. So ...

I think there is one more hint. Option C mentions the most popular programs and the program in this case might/might not be the most popular program of the television network. It was mentioned in the Connie's argument that it is her favorite program which by no means makes it necessarily the most po...

To me, as stated by mj78ind, 'a practice...' seems to modify the verb 'sketch', and so is an adverbial modifier. Though it is preferable for an adverbial modifier to lie close to the verb that it modifies, it is not necessary that it should accompany the verb.

There must not be a tense mismatch. 3. The comparison must be sensible. Though we use these rules to filt...

I have a doubt. We have two independent clauses and three incidents happening in the sentence, 1. mocking 2. boast becoming a reality 3. passage of 20 years Now according to Eli's explanation, we are considering only the second clause of the sentence and the happenings in that clause. Why is this so...
