I submitted on 9/30.

Any applicants who have heard from Wharton? There is no update on their blog or anywhere else saying they have started releasing invites.

Good luck with your application!

Wharton R1 Interviews

Hey all,

Any R1 Wharton applicants from India who have received interview invites? I'm biting my nails - three days and no news.

Any admitted guys who follow the forum and know if the invites to India are posted late?

semidevil, I'd suggest contacting the admissions office and asking them first if it's ok to submit an additional letter of recommendation. You don't want to create additional work for them and piss them off. If it's ok, you can submit the additional letter and explain your reasons for doing so in th...

Thanks for the insight Paxton! Personally, I would also add grade disclosure to the list. I went to an udergrad institution where the competition was fierce and we lost out on a whole year because we were not so cordial in our freshman year. Whereas in college you have 3 years after freshman year to...

Personal vs Professional Essays

I read on nearly all the forums that there should be a balance of personal (extracurricular or volunteer) and professional essays in the application submitted. I have some volunteer experience to write about but I believe that I'll do better justice to the essay questions asked if I were to write ab...

Personal Goals

Hi, I'm a little perplexed by how to present my goals. I presently work in the airline industry and would like to continue working in the airline industry post MBA as well. My long term goal, however, is to run a publishing house, even if it is only a small enterprise, because I really love books an...

Hi Stacey, That does help. I want the ad com to know I'm serious about the MBA and want to enroll at MBAmath.com for this reason alone. I have 2 A's and 2 B's in my four math courses in college and a 50 on the quant section in the GMAT but I've never taken a college level statistics course or any fi...

Relevancy of Achievements from School

I know that ad coms clearly state not to mention achievements from High School but I wanted to ask this: I have an A grade on a state level art exam which is recognised by the Government of India. The exam is rigorous and tests proficiency in 6 subjects and only the top 1% of the people appearing fo...

Feedback on Additional Maths Courses

I graduated from the top engineering college in India and have decent grades in all my Maths courses. I also scored 50 in the quant section of the GMAT. My concern is I had to retake one maths course at college (though I finally completed it with an A) In this light, I wanted to enroll at mbamath.co...
