is 14 percent modifying $167 billion or 1992?

Isn't "was" in the if part wrong? Also if we have was then there is no way to tell that investment happened before the returned interest.

Interest generated and invested are both in past, but generated has to be after investment, so it has to be had been invested.

I think the answer is B There are five number consider them as A,B,C,D,E In the premises it is said E= C+4 A = C-10 B has to <= C and >=A consider B =C and D =C+4 then the sum will be 4C+8-10 = 4c-2 so them mean will be less than C.
