Probability Confusion: OG-11 PS Q-217
Why does OG-11 PS Q-217 calculate prob. with only one possibility? That is, it assumes that the first student will be selected from the junior class with the porb. of 60/1000, and the prob. of selecting 2nd student will then be 1/800. Why not it takes into account the other possibility that first st...

I appreciate your reply. But im still confused.
You come up with "2" for a value two units more than zero on a number line, but the question No. 70 calculates it differently and instead of a single value, it goes for range.

I think Kaplan going way overboard in posting such laborious questions. GMAT never wants you to do such labor and expect you to know some tricks to solve such laborious questions. GMAT's focus is basic concepts and presents short amount of labor, if need be, to test basic concepts. I think test prep...

Questions in OG-11 are set in order of difficulty. So you can assume that first 3rd are easy, 2nd 3rd are medium and the last 3rd are high difficulty.

Thanks guys. The thing that alerts me again is the thing that early questions are important. I have read here and on some other website (e.g manhattangmat.com) that it’s just a myth. But here you guys are emphasizing it given the nature of the CAT software. So what number of initial questions you wo...
