Algebra DS problem from BTG Practice Questions

If 3w + 2y = x, then what is the value of y? (1) 6w + 6 = 2x (2) 9w = 3x - 9 -- This is probably a very simple question for many of you but it is a big reminder for me that will truly help many of us. With this problem the x can be canceled out of the original equation so that y is easily found. Wha...

GMAT Verbal or just detailed English is my MAJOR CRUX!! Before I took the test for the first time I knew this. Extra time was put into the English on the test, SC specifically. The OG 12th Edition was used and kind of helped. The explanations in that book baffle me. After taking the GMAT I am taking...

Great file Patrick. That is a huge help.

Does there happen to be a place full of files organized in that arrangement? It was a very easy way to learn.

IMO..this might be quicker sqrt[(16*20)+(8*32)] sqrt[16(20+16)] rish how do you know to take 16 out of both sides? In the OG it says 8 * 32 is same as 16 * 16. This step confuses me on how they got there and it looks like you did the same thing. Hopefully this is something easy if explained for us....
