How about PS? I am asking this , cause the Indian CAT Quant is much tougher than OG and kalpan problems. Indian CAT is way too tougher, so dont worry about that. Stick to the basics in quant, as I mentioned in one of my earlier posts. For Powerprep, I had access to only 2 tests. One advice: do that ...

Good news is that SC can be improved. Drastically!

Here is the stuff I used. Make sure you learn from your mistakes.

Also used 1000 SC. Let me know if you dont have it.

Hi: About the Kaplan query: I dont think I was at a 590 level. It is unheard/unrealistic to see a 200 point jump in 2 days. Thus, I think that Kaplan scoring algorithm is flawed. Dont pay too much attention on those scores. The best would be GMATPrep. For the question on RC & SC: good news SC ca...

770 (Q49, V 47)

Hi Guys, took the monster on the 7th of August and scored 770 (99 percentile) I am more than happy with the score, although I would have traded a lower score for higher quant, considering I am from the Indian demographic, which is renowned for high quant scores of 50/51 ( I am not sure if SC would a...

I think it is E.

Try for n = 2 and n = 5

Stmtn 1: rem is 2 for both 2 & 5

Stmnt 2: rem is 1 for both 4 & 25

Thus, E

I am sorry, I meant x -4 and y = -3

In this case x<y<0

and x^2 = 16
y^2 = 9

and x^2-y^2 = 7!

Perhaps I am missing something, but doesnt Smtnt 1 imply x^2-y^2 = 7

Thus, x & y could be 4 & 3 respectively?
