Taking the test a third time will only be worthwhile if you can prepare and be confident you will increase your score substantially. I would take GMATPrep tests until you're scoring in your desired range. Make sure to take into account the fact that it might repeat questions, too. Only after that w...

Hi Linda, Thank you for your reply! It's definitely helpful. As per your concerns -- I largely agree. If I were admitted, I would likely defer for 2 years to gain experience. But, as you mentioned, it is very questionable how likely getting admitted is in the first place. It's so easy to hear an adm...

Jason -- like yogami pointed out, I don't think there's any absolute way to analyze it. All I was saying is that "miserable 680" can, at the very least, be read both ways, and that there are other ways to say it. Yogami -- sorry we are being a little harsh. Frankly, I would have felt the s...

I mean, people are also free to be rude to others in public. But, one can communicate their goals and failure to achieve them in other, more friendly ways. "Miserable 680" implies that 680 is a bad score. One could very easily say "I scored a 680 and am miserable," "I scored...

Chances when Applying as a College Senior
Hi everyone, I'm thinking about applying to some business schools as a college senior. I went to an HBS information session and they seemed to really play up the idea of applying as a senior if you know you want to sometime. Basically, do I have any sort of shot at being admitted to the three school...

Personally, I don't think it's that important. Paper and pen simulate it better than a white board -- what I had was laminated graph paper with a thin-tip marker. I didn't practice with a board at all before the test and don't think it would have made any difference.
Hope this helps!

If I am right, you have nothing to worry about. Online, you can only view your official score report. If you took the test yesterday, you only have an unofficial score, so they cannot report your score online yet.
I got an email when my official score was ready.
Hope this helps!

I never did the verbal review questions. After practicing the OG, I was able to obtain a 44V on both of my GMATPrep tests. After studying MGMAT SC book, I got a 47V on the actual test. I also found Kaplan 800 good for really learning verbal and seeing some tough questions, though the OG questions ar...

Statement 1 can be true. e.g., x=1, y = 1/2, z = 1/4
Statement 3 can be true. e.g., x =1, y = 1/3, z = 1/2
Statement 2 can also be read to say x < y, but we're given that x > y. So I'm not sure how D is wrong... This is interesting! Would love to know the answer! Where'd I make a mistake?

Rahul -- first of all: congratulations on finishing your first GMAT. It can be a truly gruesome test. First of all, look at your quant score! You already have half of the test figured out at a very high level. Now, all you have to do is focus on verbal. If you are non-native English-speaker, begin o...

I'm not sure if there's any way to see your scores again.
When I took GMATPrep tests, it did NOT include percentile rankings, because those change. If you go to mba.com, though, you can find the percentile rankings if you know your scaled scores.

Thanks for the info, Jek. I found the same true for me. My GMATPreps were actually identical in score, including breakdown. They're definitely valuable tests once you've already learned the material.
Thanks again,

Congrats on your score!
Any chance you still have you practice test scores? It would be awesome to see how reliably they can predict actual GMAT scores.
