One strategy is to do long division and hope that one of them eventually stops giving you decimals.

I hope someone else has a faster strategy.

If you are saying you aren't allowed to spend your break time at the computer console, then you are correct- breaks are to be spent in the bathroom/reception area. I see what you mean about trying to create your chart outside of the allotted 75 minutes, but I don't see a way around it. The time give...

I think you are thinking too deeply into this. Just read the instructions quickly (they should be the same as in GMAT Prep) and start the thing on time!

Yes, it is erasable in the sense you can smudge stuff out with your finger, but if you are doing that a lot you will be a big mess. So smudge for small things, otherwise, just start over. You will need to be mostly done with your noteboard before you can ask for a new one, so when your at page 9 and...

I don't know the answer, but one of the markers for your essay is a computer program. I hope the computer and human marker take into consideration different English spellings. As a precaution, I only used American spellings. This wasn't as difficult for me because here in Canada most words are spell...

You would have to leave your scratch pad at your desk. You can only take your ID and locker key with you.

Would you consider limiting your liquid intake prior to the test? Obviously you don't want to be dehydrated, but I found not having to use the bathroom took a whole chunk of worry out of the day. The bathroom arrangements are different for each test centre so you don't know how close or busy it will...

I believe all sides are graphed but they are a soft watermark so you can go ahead and write right over them and forget they are there. In some cases they can be useful. For instance, people often like to create a chart with possible answers ABCDE as rows, and question numbers as columns. When you el...

This is a question you really need to ask the admissions office. In my case the MBA application asked you to fill out your GMAT scores, but in actual fact you could leave them blank and they would receive the scores at a later date.

My AWA scores were available 2 days after writing.

They don't take very long at all. Once you write you will immediately receive your Quant, Verbal, and total scores unofficially at the test centre. As DanaJ mentions, some schools will allow you to self report these results immediately. Obviously if you lie they will find out. I wrote on April 9th, ...

You really don't need a code if you want to select schools to have your score sent to. A prompt will come up that will allow you to select schools either by narrowing them down geographically, or searching by name (if I remember correctly). In fact, since you wont' be able to take anything with you ...

There was a great post here. http://www.beatthegmat.com/argument-essay-template-if-anyone-wants-it-t38032.html I used a Kaplan guide and they have a pretty good template format for each of the AWA essays. However, when it came to the topic of my real GMAT, I felt I had to deviate from the plan. I st...

I suggest taking it so you get used to the format and timing. I took the 2nd GMAT Prep test about 2 days before my real thing and found it helpful.

Good Luck!

I don't think you can. If you try it again in the future you might wish to copy and paste it onto another application before submitting. The software will not grade your essay. If you are using the GMAT Prep, I suggest writing full practise essays in addition to the Q and the V to better simulate th...
