Great stuff! Just want to correct one piece of information: The people from Manhattan often mention that most people score about 15 pts less than their highest Manhattan CAT score on the real GMAT. This isn't actually accurate. (And if you did indeed hear that from someone from my company, let me k...

I think you first score is more balanced score. Your quant is near the 80th percentile while your verbal is over the 80th percentile. I'd suggest you go with the first score.

hi unfortunately i did not also read the CR bible. from my understanding, the CR bible and the LSAT bible are essentially the same, except the LSAT bible has a few extra LSAT-specific sections. i don't know if it would be worth it to read both, but if you've never read either of them, i generally r...

don't fret.
u'll have another attempt, and this score wont matter. yes, this will be in ur records. but schools won't bother with it. talk to GMAC abt it.

lemme give it a caution 'no'.
45 days is asking a bit too much. 60 is more like it, provided u can give it all ur left with aft 60 hrs/week.
if ur looking at R2 at US schools then u have a good 60 days to take the GMAT. Why rush?

My 2 cents: I have a close frnd who's currently at ISB with a 690 in GMAT. He's former McKinsey. But, I can understand ur devastation. You may, if you have time & energy, have a 2nd attempt at GMAT. look at when the R2 ends, and take the GMAT two weeks before that date. In the meanwhile pay atte...

try to choke urself. unless u realise how good it is to be alive, u'll never appreciate the wonder of a 580.

practise and hardwork aren't everything. there's also aptitude. unless it is a story by a really lazy individual who deliberately decided to get a 300 in his first practice test, the 300 to 700 journey is rare, very rare. but who knows, one may get a 300 in GMAT, but earn millions by selling paintin...

if ur on the forums try reading success stories to pep u up. if not, then go thru the BTG flashcards for review. if u don't wanna think abt GMAT for a day, watch a movie. (i saw Shanghai Knights). or just go to sleep and give urself a deserved pre-test rest.
good luck for tomorrow.
