Hi Ranell.Can you please mention the source.The OA 'B' is highly doubtful as the second boldface is definitely the conclusion.
The trigger word in this case is 'So'.
Therefore , the OA clearly should be A.

I am quite skeptical about the source.Althought the answer is C and the reason is that it accurately presents the chronology of events.however,I am not entirely convinced with the use of 'since' as a replacement of 'becuase' .
