i think for most schools they start reviewing the waitlist mid-may all the way up until mid-august. did your friend get in? if so, then i'd assume my chances are probably pretty low... at nyu at least.

I would agree, just read, read, read. That's really the key. It'll not only increase your comprehension, but will also increase your speed. For SC, I found that repetition is the key. Get your hands on as many of these suckers as you can and practice, practice, practice. There are only so many trick...

Yeah, I definitely think that underestimating UCLA's a mistake- it's a great school! And more importantly, I think I'd fit in perfectly... oddly even enough (considering my post), UCLA was one of my favorites going into the application process... Shame on you buyer's remorse.... I applied to HBS, Co...

To MBA or not...

Hi MBA Consultants! I was recently accepted at UCLA but, like a bride on d-day, I'm getting wet feet... I think I was most phased when I went to the McKinsey website and realized that while certain schools like HBS, Tuck, NYU and others have dedicated McKinsey recruiters and websites, UCLA had nothi...

Congrats Ultraeasy!

60K may seem like a big difference now, but once you're out of school it'll be inconsequential. So my advice would be to go to the school that works best with you and your future career goals. =)

Good Luck.

Hey Toptenorbust, If it makes you feel any better, I'm multilingual (I can speak 4 languages), have a 700+ GMAT and have lived and worked in 4 different countries, yet got dinged by HBS full-time... With over 300K people taking the GMAT this year, various schools accepting GRE scores, and the curren...

Congrats Ultraeasy!!! Your admissions cycle has been nothing short of spectacular! Good luck deciding which suits you best- USC vs UCLA. I definitely think that it'll take some careful research and analysis on not just the programs, but also your personal wants, needs, situation, etc... Anyways, wis...

Heard from Tuck and got placed on the waitlist... so still waiting to hear from two schools, but it looks like I'll be attending UCLA come autumn. :D Harvard: Denied w/o interview Columbia: Denied w/o interview UCLA: Admitted NYU: Waitlist...

Since I applied through the Consortium, some of the decision dates are a little vague and unclear. Moreover, some of the programs may or may not require a second interview (in addition to the Consortium interview).... which makes things difficult to gauge. Here's what I do know: -Tuck: by the end of...

Hey Ultraeasy, I've been following your postings for some time now... as I've also been applying to schools, it's been really interesting following someone else's posts who's going through the same thing. No doubt, it's a difficult time to be applying to bschools this year... yet incredibly rewardin...

Diverse Candidate Needs Profile Evaluation

Hello, I am thinking of applying to B-schools for round III next month. Any help would be fantastic! I am particularly interested in knowing what's the minimum GMAT score/range that would make me competitive at a top-tier program with a solid international business department- Columbia, UCLA, INSEAD...
