Find the remainder
source - GMATPrep -------------------------------------------- If n is a positive integer and r is the remainder when (n-1)(n+1) is divided by 24, what is the value of r ? 1) n is not divisible by 2 2) n is not divisible by 4 see answer below - Ans = C. I have no idea how to do this - any help ?

See attached document.
Although C ( the correct answer ) did sound better to me, I picked D, because C assumes that synthesizing a hormone is the same as making/creating one.
Can we really make this assumption on SC ?

Hi dominate11 ,
Assuming you figured out the triangle problem. if not,
if you work out the angles, you see that angles BAD=ABD
hence sides AD=BD=BC - hence A is sufficient.
