IMO B.
Since MX+NY is divisible by MN, the result of the dicision should be an integer. This is poosible when MN is a factor of YN, in which case the result would be MX, an integer.

r/s < s/r => r^2 < s^2 (multiply each side by rs)
or, is r^2 / s^2 < 1 ?
Stmnt1: r/3s<1/4 => r/s < 3/4 hence sufficient
Stmnt2 : s=r+4
Since r>0 and s>0 , r^2 / s^2 < 1 ( r=1, s=5)
Hence sufficient.
Answer is D.

Here S1 says k has 27 factors thus sufficient
Man, S1 says that K has the same number of positive integer factors as 3^3 = 27, which has 4 factores - 1,3,9,27.
S1 and S2 are not contradicting. The answer is D.

Here, nothing has been said that the chips are a multiple of 12 or 14. Let say, no of piles is x. As per question, 12x = 12 +14x => x = 6, hence we do not need any of the stment.
